High Stakes PLO From Outer Space
Guy Laliberte has reportedly dumped more than $10 million into the online poker games over the last year. He has been the fuel keeping these games going, but it looks like he has other plans for his money now.
It has been confirmed by Cirque du Soleil that Guy will be the first Canadian Civilian to fly into outer space. The trip could cost Laliberte as much as $35 million to travel to space onboard the Russian Soyuz spacecraft in September.
Could this be the first time anyone sits down at Full Tilt Poker while orbiting the earth? I’m not sure, but I know that would make a damn good promotion if FT could hook up some extra bandwidth for the Soyuz.
Guy Laliberte is the founder of Cirque du Soleil; a unique performance show that is one of the hottest things in Vegas and around the world. Forbes listed Guy as one of the world’s richest men in 2008; reportedly worth more than 1.7 billion dollars.
