The Best Poker Resources
Here are some of the best poker resources that I have used over the years.
Books
Read ‘em and Reap
Joe Navarro
Joe Navarro was an FBI interrogator for about 25 years. In other words, he sat in small rooms and tried to figure out who was lying to him. Navarro has worked with some of the world’s best poker players to adapt his knowledge to the poker table. He is probably one of your worst nightmares in a live poker game so I’d recommend this book to anyone who plays in a live setting.
Dan Harrington
There is now 3 books to this series. I recommend all three of the books to poker players. The first edition is probably the most crucial to people who are learning to to play poker. This book does a great job of teaching people how to evaluate hands and make better decisions. No matter what type of style you life to play, you will find some useful passages in this book.
Harrington has been featured in recent years on ESPN as he made the final table at the World Series of Poker 2 years in a row. Dan also won the main event in 1995, and he has been successful in the poker world ever since.
