I have probably deposited onto Full Tilt at least 10 times this week with my Visa card. I don't know what to say, I like to see what kind of cards people have - and I hate to fold my hands.

It seems to me that when players start to learn this game, they first think that it is just like Texas Holdem. They soon learn that it is played much differently and as they adjust to this, they pick the game up extremely fast.

I have made some new additions to Big Edge Poker lately that I'm gonna update here on the blog.

First there is some pages that I have created for no download poker sites, online casinos, and mid stakes poker sites.

The Jacklink's free beef jerky promotion is over. I must say that the Jack Link's promotion was one of the coolest things I have ever done on this site. I might say the same for Full Tilt or the other rooms if they agreed to start paying me with maple-glazed ham nuggets and peppered beef jerky.

I have also added Titan Poker to the lineup here at Big Edge Poker. Titan is a great poker room that doesn't accept US poker players. This aspect has its ups and downs; I suggest that if you are located outside of the US you head over and check this poker site out.

Another issue to address here... should I bring back the guest bloggers? Some of my visitors might remember the last time that I did this. There was several other poker authors on the blog here and in the course of hiring them I lost about 1/2 of my subscribers. Feel free to email me if you care. I'm not really in the mood to hire a bunch of writers and supervise them while they complain about bad beats on my blog here.

Phil Ivey is one of my favorite poker players. I could go on all day about why I like the guy, but the bottom line is that I am glad he didn't win the world series of poker this year. It was pretty amazing that he got as far as he did, the odds of a well known player getting that far a just not good.

I don't know how I came up with the name to this blog entry. I suppose this is the result of binge drinking at 8:30 a.m., but to make things interesting, lets try to make a blog entry out of this nonsensical blog title.

Full Tilt has made some interesting new additions to their poker software. The first is not a new concept to everyone; it's called running it twice and this means putting 2 boards of cards out rather than just 1. You can lose the pot, split the pot or win the whole thing depending on if you can win both community boards or not.

I have recently moved to Colorado and I must admit that the poker scene is pretty weak here. There are a few casinos down in Blackhawk on the indian reservation but I haven't even ventured down that way yet. My housemates' description of the action ...<< MORE >>
